which the company submitted tenders.
Already the most common mode of public transport, it is growing steadily and appears to be approaching a major modern breakthrough. As municipalities and county councils invest in their infrastructure, quality aspects are slowly but surely gaining more attention.
Revenue in the Nobina Group rose to SEK 6,134 million (5,406).
The Nobina Group reported an operation profit of SEK 206 million (161) for the year.
The Nobina Group won contracts for 713 buses (370) in the year´s procurements.
Revenue from contractual bus services in Sweden amounted to SEK 4,396 million (3,990). Operating profit was SEK 232 million (154).
Revenue from contractual bus services in Norway totalled SEK 528 million (463). Operating profit was SEK 9 million (28).
Revenue from contractual bus services in Finland reached SEK 721 million (517). Operating profit was SEK 24 million (12).
Revenue from contractual bus services in Denmark amounted to SEK 53 million. Operating profit was SEK -24 million.
Revenue from long-distance bus transport totalled SEK 341 million (351). Operating profit was SEK 23 million (19).
During the year the Group purchased 387 buses (133) for a total of SEK 631 million (306) under finance leases.
